Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples
Family and Systemic Therapist, trained by the Portuguese Society of Family Therapy – Lisbon, with a postgraduate specialisation in Couples Therapy and training and supervision in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for Couples through the Nord Italia Center.
Degree in Social Work from the Higher Institute of Social Work of Lisbon, with professional experience across a range of areas, including Community Intervention, Family Skills Development and Promotion Programmes, Technical Team Coordination, the Child and Youth Rights Promotion and Protection System, Primary Healthcare, private companies, local government, and private social solidarity institutions.
Currently works at the Institute for Addictive Behaviours and Dependencies, in the field of addictive behaviours and dependencies, including psychoactive substances, gambling and other forms of behavioural addiction.
Also works in private practice at Centro Médico do Cartaxo, collaborating with the medical team, particularly the Psychology, Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry teams.
Member of the multidisciplinary GAPP (Group for Action in Psychology and Performance) intervention team, under the coordination of Ana Bispo Ramires, working in the area of Family and Couples Therapy in Lisbon.
Provides Family and Couples Therapy sessions in English.
