Internationally certified in Sport Psychology for Athletes Development by the Universitas FC Barcelona Innovation Hub, with advanced training in Olympic Preparation and Development through the Portuguese Olympic Committee’s Olympic Performance Programme.

With more than 25 years of professional practice, areas of expertise include Clinical Psychology, Sport and Performance Psychology, Neurodevelopment, Psychoeducation, and Technical Team Supervision.


Extensive experience across high-demand environments, including university hospitals, sports clubs, community projects, non-profit organisations, and psychoeducational training initiatives. Integrated the Eating Disorders and Suicide Studies Units at Santa Maria University Hospital, while coordinating a range of intervention and training projects within the social and sports sectors.


Within the sports context, coordinates the Triathlon School of Clube de Futebol Os Belenenses and has collaborated with the professional Handball team in the supervision of academic internships.

Supervisor of professional internships recognised by the Portuguese Psychologists’ Association and ISPA – Instituto Superior de Psicologia Aplicada. Regular contributor to the dissemination of scientific and technical knowledge, with articles on Performance Psychology published in Pro Runners magazine.


Currently coordinates GAPP (Group for Action in Psychology and Performance) alongside Ana Bispo Ramires and Sofia Raposo.
