GAPP is an interdisciplinary working group composed of a diverse range of specialists with extensive experience across a variety of high-demand contexts, whose aims are to:
Develop and implement research and intervention projects characterized by a high level of theoretical and practical rigor and grounded in the latest international recommendations across different areas of performance (needs and opportunities assessment, intervention, and the production of outcomes such as executive reports, technical documents, scientific papers, among others);
Clarify, establish, and optimize the role of Sport/Performance Psychology in interdisciplinary projects through the implementation of training programs (for psychologists and non-psychologists) that promote the delivery of Psychological Skills Training interventions across different settings;
Define, implement, and promote different models of Human Performance Optimization, at both individual and organizational levels, grounded in scientific evidence;
Contribute to the training and development of professionals at all stages of their careers, promoting the optimization of their performance;
Contribute to the clarification and promotion of the role of Sport and Performance Psychology within the community and the media.
