Ana Bispo Ramires has a degree in Psychology from ISPA, in the Clinical area, obtained a Master’s degree in Sports Psychology from the University of Minho and is currently in a PhD program at the University of the Balearic Islands, deepening her knowledge at the intersection of Mental Health and Performance Excellence. She graduated in “Mental Health in Elite Sports” by the IOC (International Olympic Committee) and has the specialties of Clinical and Health Psychology, Organizational Psychology and the advanced specialty of Sports Psychology (recognizedby the Order of Portuguese Psychologists – member 8488).
She was a University Assistant at ISPA (Institute of Applied Psychology) for 13 years, where she taught the subjects of Methods and Techniques of Research, Emotional Skills Training and Sports and Performance Psychology (Masters Degree). In this same institution, she was a professor and one of the responsibles for organizing and structuring the plan of studies and programmatic contents of the postgraduate courses in Sports Psychology and Physical Activity and in Leadership Training and Teams Development. Still in this context, she has been a guest lecturer at different higher education institutions (FADEUP, Coimbra University, among others), namely in the post-graduation in Nursing in Sports, by the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP) and in the international post-graduation “High Performance Football Coaching”, by Faculty of Human Kinetics (FMH).
She is the author of articles and chapters of national and international books, in the area of sports and performance psychology, being responsible for a weekly opinion column, on the site “Tribuna Expresso”, as well as a speaker at numerous events in Portugal and abroad.
Between 2017 and 2023, integrated the Sports Medicine Department of the Portuguese Olympic Committee, in the Specialties of Clinical and Sports Psychology, having integrated the Olympic Mission Tokyo 2020 (Portuguese NOC Team). In 2022, integrated the Sports Direction in GAPO – Olympic Preparation Support Office for the Paris 2024 Olympic Preparation.
Currently accompanies several Olympic athletes in a private context.

Key-Speaker, Trainer and Consultant, with thousands of hours of work developed with more than 24 000 people, in companies as different as: POPULAR Bank, Renault, PT, BP Portugal, GALP, Repsol, Tranquilidade, EDP, Emel, Accenture, Compta, Nobre, Havilogistics, BES, MetLife, Aveleda, Alma Lusa Hotels, Executiva, Montepio Credito, AdC, ANA, CISCO, among others.
Sports/Performance Psychology, in the scope of the most varied activities of high performance (athletes, coaches, referees, physicians, military, top managers, artists, dancers, choreographers, …), highlighting the work with coaches and professional football athletes, such as the collaboration with Football National Coach Luiz Filipe Scolari, the well-known goalkeeper Rui Patricio and Benfica’s football department for almost 10 years (all from the public domain).
Clinical Psychologist, always accompanying her clients from a perspective of optimizing their quality of life, well-being, and life project.
She founded and coordinates the GAPP (Psychology & Performance Group), focusing on systemic multidisciplinary interventions formulas in Life, Arts, Sports and Business settings (www.gapperformance.pt).
